Quite old school there the TSW evos
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forum%20Photos/tsw_evo.png
Ive got no centre caps for them tho:(
Ive also got a set of nimrods but im not gonna put them on yet.
I like the idea of 15''s more:)
And ive got all the spacers etc for the evos.
I really want a set of tsw catalunya 15''

As i said i should be putting on a new rear axle and front callipers soon:)
So i was wondering what Discs and Pads should i get for my new GTi brake setup??
I dont really wanna spend too much as i seem to be spending loads on the car at the moment:p
Marcs
08-05-2007, 10:24 PM
Anyone????
Rallye James
08-05-2007, 10:27 PM
I'd go for Ferodos. Not too expensive, but still decent quality, That's what I'm looking at getting ;)
Marcs
08-05-2007, 10:43 PM
Woah james youve jus gone over 3000 Posts:eek:
I was considering them think the package on ebay for front & rear pads and discs was about £140 and dont they make a lot of brake dust?
I was thinking a little bit cheaper than that.
Remember its only stopping a 1.4:p

Update:
Some of you might have read that i had a slight problem getting my wheels on,
First there was a problem that i had fitted studs to my car when i had my nimrods but i had to remove these as they wernt gonna fit the spacers for my new wheels.
Once i had got the studs out i then had the problem that because of my spacers the bolts for the wheels where actually too long!
So after an hour and fifteen minutes oh sawing 16 bolts 6mm shorter each.
I now have my new wheels on YAY
Some pics straight after i got them on:
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics044.jpg
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics046.jpg
Gotta love the new tyres:)
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics053.jpg
After a lil drive:
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics060.jpg
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics059.jpg
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics057.jpg
Hahaha, sounds like fun!
What wheels are they mate?
Really needs lowering next I think :)

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/marcuscarman/Forumpics065.jpg
Its just dying to be lowered now!!
Ive got my springs.
Went to the garage today to ask about fitting my gti axle and lowering it.
Im gonna have to wait till gone june 4th but hell be able to do it straight after that:)
So not long:)
Marcs
16-05-2007, 12:09 AM

Looking good! I wasn't sure I'd like them but they are rather nice. Look better without the centre caps ;)
I want your tyres! :D
Marcs
16-05-2007, 01:50 PM
The only reason i havent put centre caps on is because i dont have any:(To be honist they could do with a refurb! So if i come accross a set of Catalunyas in 15'' i might have to get them.Im shit at making decissions though!I had nimrods(which ive still got in my garage but without the right bolts and spacers)But then i wanted 15sSo i got the TSWs but then started looking for a set of vts wheelsThen got tempted by some cyclonesAnd i still think id rather another set even after all the time and money ive put to get these on:(

Bit of an issue!!
Today my friend was turning my car round!
And when he went to put it in reverse there was a loud clonk!
And then my gear stick was flapping about like a wet fish.
I thought my quikshift must have popped off.
So i got under it.
Its not the quikshift it was another linkage. the cup the ball sits in has popped off bbut left the joint there!
Im not sure if that makes sense?
But im gonna get under her again tomorro and get some pics.
Any chance the quikshift caused this??
Or did my friend(who doesnt have a quikshift)
Give reverse too much of a yank?
And where can i get a new linkage?
Marcs
06-06-2007, 10:40 AM
Anyone?

get some pics.
if it nakered? or can it be pushed back on?

06-06-2007, 11:12 AM
