what wouild you guys recommend for removing tar from your car i found the autoglymm stuff rubbish n i ended up using petrol? worked a treat?

i use a spray called gunk, its in a red and black srpay can, cost me 1 pound in a sale at halfords so i got it thinking bargin il try it, and its the best one iv ever tryed, u spray it on, goes a lil foamy, leave it for about 4 mins then clean area again and its all gone, used it on my sister clio the other hasnt been washed properly for years was a right mess, came up looking like new when i used it

always use the autoglym and works beautifully

failing that you could try WD40

i use Ag intensive tar remover or you could use a clay bar

AG Tar remover, works a treat. A bottle lasts ages as well.

As already stated... Clay Bar is fantastic for picking up Tar spots. Or at a bare minimum AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover...

GOD, wouldn't use petrol:eek:.

Do yourself a favour,get off to halfords and pick up some TURTLE WAX bug and tar remover spray.In a black spray container.
Pretty good stuff. Smells nice too;).
Just spray on locally and leave for a couple of mins,longer if a lot of tar then rub off and buff with a nice clean cloth.

Works a treat!:).

bit of elbow grease with a damp chamois leather does the job a treat :)

borrowed from a dixon renault i got 5 gallen of the stuff makes auto glym stuff look like rat piss,
but before that used auto glym stuff as every one else does just left a few mins then removed
