Got this for my PS3, just played it tonight for the second time and I've got to say it's awful. Controls are over complicated and totally different to FIFA 04 (last one I had). Players don't run fast enough and I couldn't even score against Scunthorpe - wtf!?

I hate this damn game, waste of money :(

Ah, will give it a go I suppose, can't seem to change the controls though and they're really bad - L1 to switch players? Square to slide tackle rather than normal tackle means I keep fouling everyone :confused:

The player edit is amazing and its controls and gameplay are better than Fifa.

Only plus with fifa 08 is you get teams from lower leagues, but then its so slow you might aswell not bother.

FIFAs shit, Pro evo smacks it all the time. Just a shame people cant see past the fact it doesnt have all the team and player names.

i loved fifa 07. best football game i've ever played. only had a go on PES once so cant really comment but didn't really get what everyone was raving about.

havent played either of the new ones, good mate of mine has '08 on his 360 tho and loves it. plays it on legendary and wins every game so it cant be that hard?

im a Fifa player, had a few goes off PES but prefer Fifa still.

PES is just seems too Japanesse for me. its more like an arcade game than a game you can get into.
