Gave myself the idea after replying in a different thread!

Ive driven a lotus elise retro fitted 160 now that was unbelievably quick acceleration! also corners stoopidly.
Drove an RB5 scooby, h8 the car but shit it moves, 0-60 on it now is around 4 secs.
In summer mate wrote off his lotus and insurance let him buy this ;D (just look at my little pleased face after a whip down the m54 :) )

Think there the only 3 really worth mentioning, although my bosses old 206 gti 180 could shift i just didnt feel safe pushing it.

Fastest one has prob been my dads Volvo V70 T5, that was stupid quick!

Also had a drive of my friends Honda Del Sol 1.6 VTEC, pretty nippy!

Yeh you wouldnt think it was fast being a volvo! Police use them though, pretty hard to outrun in ya nova!

My housemate got a S2000 gt as a company car, we took that for multiple cruises ;D

Ah Honda Civic is lush! I really wanted a type R before I got the Quiky. Just couldnt afford it.

Unfortunately my dad has gone down the Diesel route. Now got a Merc E320 CDI Turbo. Not bad for a Diesel but has nothing on the Volvo!!

I worked at a Jaguar restorers at the time, so was insured under the companys insurance. Only drove it half a mile though at about 30 mph, shifting it from one unit to another. Had to be careful as it was a customers car :(

the fastest I've driven in 135mph in a skoda octavia VRS on the north York moors. Very very acomplished car and really shifts and goes round corners well

the fastest I've ever been in a car is as a passenger and was 147mph in a volvo estate on the M180 in the poaring rain hanging onto the boot of another volvo estate doing the same speed!

Oh and by the way these are not boy racer type 'I can drive fast' boasts I think most people who know me/know of me know that I'm a cop the Octavia was on my 3 week advanced driving course where we are taught how to drive fast and safe and the volvo was during an attatchment to the traffic unit and we were responding to an accident on the motorway.

My girlfriend has bought me a driving experience day as well so sometime this year I get to drive an aston martin DB9 (my dream car ;))

As im a mechanic then i drive a few on test drives, but the best has to be the merc cdi`s as they don`t half shift. Ive driven a merc s55 and that is it for exiting cars. Mostly they are golf diesels which go well for an oil burner. Impreza`s are not as quick as they sound unless they are driven hard though.

R32 Golf for me. Was when i had my 1.1, amazing how people were indicating for me to go by yet i dont think ive ever had that in a 106 and I was only driving the r32 for about 5 miles.

After thats its my dads old Audi A4 2.6 V6 or a Golf TDi 150bhp, although they are nothing on the r32.

my gti is fairly quick but nothig compaired to the cars where i work, the fastest car ive driven is a westfield sport 2000S 0-60 in 3 sec 0-100 in little over 6 secs this is the exact car i regulary drive at work (but now its red)

Nah ive driven a very tuned rb5 n still think theyre poop, technical engineering heaven etc but i dunno they just seem so 10year old pinup etc and there friggin everywhere .
