hi,im going to lower my car when i get a chance.im just wondering that if i lower it 50mm will my power steering pipe rub on something like saxos do and eventually put a hole in the pipe.im just wondering if 106 get this problem too.and also is a saxo steering rack a direct replacement for a 106 gti.thanks

i had this on my silver gti,its eventually rubbed through an pissed out every where! an my mates saxo did it,it only seems to be the odd 1s that do it,i had a pipe made up so it wouldnt hit the steering rack.....
just get it lowered,and push down on the car to see if the rack goes anywhere near the pipe but you should be ok

you cant really move it,just lower it and see mate it mite be ok stop worring lol

no mine doesnt rub an ime lowered 70mm on the front!!!

i can suply modified track control arms to prevent contact with the pass pipe if needed.
