Spax 40mm springs for 1.1/1.4/1.4D

Any 1.1 owners had any experience with these? Do they actually give a 40mm drop or will it end up being less.

A guy called Ant, he's doing mine as a friend through the Southern-Pugs guys for £70. Probably not much help as I doubt you know any of them.
It's expensive around here most garages don't want to know - Motomex wanted 200 odd quid.
