Help! loose, clashing, knocking noise, annoying me!!!

:)Right has come to a time where this certain noice is annoying me so much, lol this is what peugeot do to you, make u all paranoid and annoyed cause the cars are put together cheap and nastie with blue tag and glue! Don't get me wrong guys the 106 QS are brillant cars, wouldn;t get rid of mine me:-) but neway when i go over bumps, push it around corners hard or brake its makes this certain noice, best i can explain is like a loose noice, like 2 metal bits clashing together, the garage had a look at it where i brought my car he said all my joints are fine, cv joint, ball joint and etc all fine!!! he said he couldn;t hear anything, but i can hear it rly well, i am not paranoid or **** i can hear a noice which doesn;t sound good or healthy and is pissing me off so much lol, i am putitng it in a garage on monday to get a guy to look at it but i need idea guys and thsi si the best place to come hehe, u guys got more knowlegde then a stupid dealership mechanic who had work with peugeots for liek years lol. anyone with ideas please post be helping me out alot thanks peeps.

Ive got annoying clashing noise too from the rear tho, mechanics looked at it and no1 knows what it is. everything looks fine.

Hmm yea me too i have tht sorta sound when i hit a bump, sounds like a loose joint or sumfin sorta sound and mine sounds like it comes from the rear of the car, i was under it today and cudnt c nethin loose so i'm stumped too

well i jsut had my passenger cv joint done but i think the drivers side one is fine hehe, when sumone was looking at my car he said the brake pad was loose on the drivers side and he could move them around through the wheel with a key!!! that could be it. i had two good mechanics complaining to me who fitted yer brakes because it caused oen fo my cv boots to rip:S i think the person who put my brakes pads and discs on cocked up, or could be loose wheel bearing i dunna.

Mines started to make a funny knocking noise from the rear, when going round corners and over bumps it sounds like theres a can moving from side to side, had a quick look last night but couldn't see anything! :confused:

i not had time to take it the garage yet to get it sorted, but i want everything sorted before the big meet at the 27th! but if sum one could tell me what it is i can get it done on the warrenty, bet all u guys jealous i got warrenty, always get a warrenty with a pug haha alot things go wrong with them, the french are useless but make sexie cars!! lol

that reminds i soon i will need to break the gearbox soon on purpose to claim off the warrenty, i am trying to use as much as i can before it runs out.

Mate of mine had same noise and put group n top mounts on and it cured it, drive shaft noise is like a slow juddering knock rather than a single definitive metallic knock

i used to have a quiksilver and i had a wierd noise coming from the back, now and again.....sounded like a bit of metal scraping on concrete (it wasnt tho lol) however nobody ever found the problem and car got sold

change the pads and check the brake lines, the brake discs and calipers and fluids

when i put my coilovers on then knock over bumps andwhen i give it sum around a bend sounds like the top of the springs move ???????????

mine makes a noise from the anti roll bar haha cos i hit a curb few weeks bak..........it shifted the anti roll bar in its housing a bit, so turnin causes it to shift a bit, but its all safe :D
