what parts do you have and what make coilovers are they. Ive got apex coilovers on mine, some kits vary a little bit.

ive job gmax and i have too front shocks/inserts two springs the adjuster mechanism with a threaded tube with two blue adjuster things and i have like another blue cup thing which i think is meant for the top, then i have c spanners and a few bolts and washers.and uprated rear, the reason i think there may b something missing is because the pic shows a helper spring but there is only 1 spring per shock, soz for the essay

i dont have helper springs with mine. It sounds like it is all there though. It may be best to give the company a ring and ask if you was ment to get the help spring with them.

mine are height and dampening adjustable on the front and dampening adjustable on the back. my coilovers have been good so far i need to adjust the dampening though as its on highest setting at the moment. i had to adapt my strut for them to fit.

If the springs you have are only about 3 inch long, then you need helper springs. Mine have helper springs, main springs, some bit for in between the 2 springs, top spring mount and struts. I bought the h and r set, and that came with new struts but i had to fit the old hubs and top mounts to fit them.

when the car is off the jack the helper spring is fully compressed if you have one. It has no effect on the way it works except to keep the main spring in place when the suspension is fully disended.
If the main spring is long enough as in your case then you do not need the helper spring.
Things can get more complex when you use a tender spring along with the main spring. These aren't fully compressed when the car is of the jack and do change the characteristics of the suspension .. the possiblities are endless (and exciting if you like that sort of thing)
