carbon deposits?

how do i make the bootlid on my car white again? ive washed it and then attacked it with turps but it still seems dull, and it lets the back end down.

The cleaning legend has arrived! Aye it seems dull like it doesnt want to shine like its stained somhow. the rest of the car shines though(im only using TripleWax lol). i think its something to do with the exhaust?

DAN DAN DAN THE MAN! , could be a case of maybe hittin it with tcut restorer that normaly does the trick.. i hate sitting my quiky next to my bro's cus his is a lighter shade of silver than mines and makes mine not look soo shiney :(

AG tar remover :P bit extreme but did the trick on my friends white 1.1 xn boot :P then follow by a good wash
