wide alloys and lowering it is a good start!

lol ^
wider tyres will make the handling worse! but will give you more grip.
change all bushes to powerflex etc, made quite a difference to mine.

GTi anti roll bars front and back
GTi torsion bars in rear beam
Lowered 35-40mm on eibach springs
Bilstein shock absorbers all round
Upper and lower strut braces, and vtr/vts/gti lower chassis strengthening bar
And yeah powerflex bushes all round
:D

Fuzz has covered it all... apart from rear strut brcae which would have to be welded in..
then you quicky will stick to whatever you want it to.. :p

Group N billies .. or Sprintline if budget won't stretch
Eibach springs.. both the prokit and sprintline are exceptionally good.
OMP upper and lower strut brace
That'll blow a fair wad of pocket money already but you can take it so much further still..
