Not 100% sure on this, but I think if you take the A1073 (Crowland) when you get to Spalding, I think its a little bit quicker (Although it says A road, its a bit of a bastard in places, but i think its a fun little road to go down... Just watch for ice!!)

Do it right, you end up on the A1139, which is straight up then... If you need directions for it, lemme know, I know that route like the back of my hands from all the runs to and from the in-laws :D

From Boston on the A16, when you get to the roundabout with McDonalds and A151 I think on your left and Springfields signposted on your right, head straight over (Continuing A16)
Next roundabout, 2nd exit (Straight over)
Next roundabout (Beware of the speed camera somewhere between the McD's roundabout and here!) take the left (1st exit) signposted Cowbit, Crowland, A1073). There is a 50 limit around most of this road, but the only speed camera is on your way into Cowbit, but its been burned out for over a year!! Its twisty as feck for most of it, up until you get near crowland, as soon as you're past Crowlands its straight again.
Follow the A1073 for miles and miles, until you get to Eye Green. Follow the road thru, but for Godsakes watch out, there are 2, yes 2 speed cameras within about 50 metres of each other, you never know what way they're facing...
At the 1st roundabout, take the 2nd exit (straight over)
Next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (Right) signposted Peterborough / Leicester A47.
Follow until you get to the first roundabout, then head LEFT, not straight over.
At the next roundabout, you only have 2 exits, take the right one.
Follow til the big roundabout (Should have a KFC and BP on right.) Take the 2nd exit (A1139)
Follow for miles, until you get to the roadworks (Again, speed camera warning...) Turn off when you get to the first sliproad (Road is corned so each lane can only go one way, so get in left lane early, speed camera about 50 metres before the sliproad)
At roundabout at top of sliproad, take 1st exit towards hampton
Next roundabout straight over (Should see McDs now!)
Next roundabout 3rd exit into pub/McDs car park!!

k7mfy here....u cant really get lost gettin from the services to hampton, as edinnit said its signposted, and once u get to the hampton roundabout u cant miss tescos or maccy ds, which is rite next to the pub!! fergie has put his no on here so if u get lost jus ring he is like a walking sat nav as well so u shud get there in one piece! :-)

If you do park in tescos, make sure you move it before they close at 10... McD's may be better idea to park?

TBH mate nikki's cars on the bumpstops, or not far off them i think. so depending how low you are you should be alright.

if you car is lowered 40-50mm your be fine, but mine literally sits on the floor, if i was to go over that bump i would mount onto the bump .. its one of those wide massives ones that are like kerbs lol .. i think it be okay for other cars, just mine bottoms out on the center box to my exhaust .. :(

Neither!! The A15 just outside yaxley is shitted up, and the roadworks on 1139 don't help!! Yaxley is shorter, so like you said, slowly down there seems like a plan...
