Arite Chaps, seen this bit on the forum so i thought i would post my project as i go along.
When i got her she was a 1.4 xsi conversion with gas flowed heads and piper cams, she had a blown head gasket and needed some bodywork and interior work done to her.

Then i started stripping the interior, was a bit worn n needed a new carpet, so the next thing that will be going in is the half lather interoir out of a gti when i can find one.

Thats All thats been done to the interior the now, so the work started on the outsde of the car, heres a couple of pics

Then started to tear the front end of the car to get to that head

got the head gasket changed now, slight problem with overheating but kind of got it sorted now, just running kind of high, going to try flush the radiator and do it again. any ideas on what sort of manifold i should get?

Good little project there, sounds like it'll be a nice tasty engine when its back together with that cam

yeah thats the next thing im going to work on, im buying the challenge bodykit soon and getting the dents in the door and wing pulled out, and then see where it takes me from there. thinking about spray tinting the sidelights to go with the morettes and the put a light brow over the top of that?? ior maybe sell the morettes and put the original lights on with the light brow? any1 have any good ideas about that area?

im not in a hurry to sell them, so im just going to take offers, id be prepared to take the old headlights and money, aswell as id have to search for new ones

i forgot to say, but its maybe shown in one of my pictures that there is a crack in the plastic on the drivers light, was going to glue it back together and spray them if i was going to use them
