Well, now i'm getting more serious in my driving games, im doing the same as when I first got into flight sims (bought a joystick), so i've just been on Amazon, and bought this, and was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with it before...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000JCF6P8

I would've bought a G25, but there was no way I was spunking £125 on a PC steering wheel

Im also seriously tempted to buy Test Drive: Unlimited when they get it back in stock, because I went on it on my mates 360 and loved it. :D

Crikey, how did I miss this thread :o

TBH, I wouldn't trust that wheel. It could be fine, but I've never heard any mention of people using it.

Apart from the G25, the Logitech Momo and Logitech Driving Force Pro (PS2 Wheel) are the usual suspects when it comes to wheels for the PC. I had a DFP before the G25, and can't fault it, 900 degrees of rotation as well.

Admittedly, the Momo/DFP pedals (they're the same) can be a little unreliable, but I believe this is solved in later revisions.

Beano is LFS free?

The demo is, which is essentially the full game with most of the content locked.
You still get the latest patches and online play, but as demo users have no unique ID they can't be banned from servers for behaving like muppets. Because of this, the demo servers shouldn't really be taken as an example of how the licensed community behaves.

In the demo, you get 3 cars and one track.

XF GTi - FWD Hatchback, 1.3l 16v, 115bhp, 940kg.
XR GT - RWD Coupe, 1.8l, 140bhp, 1167kg.
Formula BMW - RWD Single Seater, 1.2l, 140bhp, 465kg.

It's well worth paying for, I've been playing since 2003. Only £24, but then you find yourself buying £180 steering wheels

Licensed users have data for all online races saved on LFSWorld, here's mine http://www.lfsworld.net/?win=stats&racer=bean0

Nearly 60k online miles

Well, so far, its been good to me, had a few niggly problems when I first got it, but they were my own fault for not reading the instructions, so, I forgot to plug a few wires in :o lol.

BTW, 1000 miles ftw! lol.

Just had a quick search about, seems one of my new teammates has one.
According to him it's a very good wheel, with good tech support should anything go wrong.

This is the one with analogue paddles isn't it?
It's also been recommended to a couple of wheelchair-bound racers :)

Yeah, its got analogue paddles, and its got pedals too, so you can choose between them, so I can see why its been recommended to wheelchair users. It feels nice and sturdy too. :)

Ever tried taking some of the quicker corners at high speed? That can be a bit akward, especially if the back end steps out, and you end up sending the mouse flying across the desk :o
Or drifting, that ends up with the same effect, hehe.

Tbh mate, I can really recommend that wheel, while I haven't really had much experience with other wheels, that feels sturdy, has all the features you need, and more, and for that price when compared to wheels with similar specs, you cant really go wrong, lol.
