Apologies if this is a repeat thread.
But whats the best wax to use?
Or wash and wax kit? Someone said Meguiars is one to go for?

Well theres loads to choose from lol
I personally use megs tech wax and spray wax :) good stuff

apart from some pink stuff i used to use in a bottle at work..
don't know the brand just their logo was a "s" in a funny shape :D

Autosmart. Good stuff that! I used it when I worked at a Jaguar restorers :)
I use wax wipes now because they're so easy to use :D
I use either CG XXX or Dodo juice :)

Megs Tech Wax for me also. Not used any other types before.
I have started to use Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze prior to waxing.

I use megs next tech its alright but it doesn't last very long, best stuff ive ever used is collinite

me dad uses carnauba wax that he got off ebay, works a treat on his saab 9-3 aero, ccan use it on both black plastic and paint and it only needs a little!
honestly i could literall see my whole body in colour on the side of his car afta he had done it, it was like showroom condition!
but he wont let me use it on me pug, spose i shud wash it 1st!

Atm im using CG XXX wax to get me through the winter months.
Tom - check DW they have a massive thread about what dodo wax to use for the different colour cars.

Light Fantastic - Soft Wax - Light Colours
Hard Candy - Hard Wax - All Colours
Blue Velvet - Hard Wax - Dark Colours
Banana Armour - Hard Wax - Warm Colours
Diamond White - Hard Wax - Light Colours
Light Colours:
Silvers, White, Light Metallics, Light Blues.
Warm Colours:
Yellows, Orange, Reds, Gold.
Dark Colours:
Black, Greys, Dark Blues, Dark Metallics.

If that is your car in your Avitar, then DJ Light fantastic.:)
The harder waxes i found where a ball ache to work with, great finished but to much hassle!
I Use light fantastic and rainforest rub! :)

you can mix the colours up a bit to try and get a different tint on your car.

yea might have to go with the light fantastic one if ppl say it gunna b gd.
i'm using some turtlewax wax stuff atm, it does the job but i want some proper high quality stuff at not to bad price

I use Zymol Wax :)
Or Poorboys Nattys paste (blue one for dark cars)
