Alright everyone, (Sorry about the long post)
Seeing as it is my brithday tomorrow and i will finially be allowed out on the road as a L plate looney :p i thourght i would put up work progress pics and a little write up from start to finish :)
I would do this tomorrow but i will be on the way to west wales via abergavenny and the brecon becons. :)
so... i first brought the car back in September, i paid £500 upfornt and my parents paid the rest, which i am currently still paying back to them, £100 a month.
this is how she looked sitting in the garage all alone...
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/griff785/P1010114.jpg
After we got her home safely i gave her a well deserved clean and it turned out pretty well... also did a few simple things to clean her up.. new rocker cover spray up manifold cover etc etc.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/griff785/P1010121.jpg
Next on the list was de-wipering and badging and the induction kit.. (raceland enclosed) which took a little bit of customising to get to fit but went on okay, improved the trottle response and made a ncie grunt :p.
After that i saved up abit more, and thanks to Graeme got some eibach sportline springs giving the front around a 50mm drop, and also got the torsion bar set right down. i will be upgrading the shocks at some point. Will probaly go for billies.
Next up was colour coding the bumper strips and wing mirriors, did this muself, took plenty on time on it, sanding down very smooth, then spraying up. Rattle cans where £7.50 each for a colour and laquare from peugeot, so i brought two to be safe.
Im please with how it turned out.. now it was looking like this...

I know the wheels wont be to everyones taste but they came on the car and atm, i cant afford a new set, so they will be staying untill i can get some money...

but it was still looking quite bare.. so set about getting a small spoiler, was going for the GTi but wanted something slightly different.
I then hoped onto the raceland manifold group buy and got myself a nice 4-2-1 around christmas time, i fitted this on christmas day along with my pugsport :p
here i am... in the good old trackies ;)

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/griff785/DSCF0548.jpg
So that was the exhaust sorted out :).. next i moved on the the strut brace thanks to steve  and a quickshift which i got from GE very simple easy and very effective mod, and a GTi front ARB with powerflex bushes.
Also my obsession started, sparked off by steve.. CLEANING..
wont bore you with detail (if i havnt already) but these are some pics of how the cleaning is atm..
stood like this under a cover for a good 2 months...

It will eat any 1.2 alive (fact)
and if a clio 1.4 16v is anything to go by, most 1.4s too!
Your car is really CLEAN!
Really well done though mate your doing a smashing job!
