Hi, couple of problems. First at idle the car will rev like mad. I sorted this problem before by cleaning the stepper motor but the problem has returned. Apert from buyinh a new stepper motor, is there anythin else that would cause the problem.
Secondly, the overall performance of my car is to say the least abismall. Lack of any real acceleration and if i'm going up a road with a slight incline, then its hard work just to get it to 70, and it wont go no more, (and the engine is pushed to the max). I know a couple of mates with a 1.0 106 and theirs perform much bettr than my 1.1. Does anyone know how to improve my car cause its starting to p**s me off.
P.S I have aleady fitted a 57i kit but that didn't reall do anything (also its done less than 2k miles yet has already lost its cool nois, is his normall)
Man thanks in advance.

I have new 4 electrode Bosch spark plugs, I've cleaned the throttle housing and have a K & N k57i induction kit on. I havent changed the fuel filter yet so I'm not sure about that.

I've put Redex injector cleaner thorugh it a couple of times with no difference really being made. I have tried NGK plugs but the performance was the same as the Bosch. I havent checked noticed any air leaks. The exhuast should be OK but i'm not sure. I've got a new fuel filter but waiting a couple of days for warmer weather to change it. ( I scincerly hope that's the problem!!!)
