Hi!
I got the same problem, I think.. The underside of my rear seats has rotten away due to dampness... What to do stop it?

No I doesn't smell, luckily. New seats would be really hard to find.. And no one has noticed it, and I don't tell passengers that they're sitting on top of a potential health risk ;).
I notice sometimes my seat covers and carpet gets wet as well. I guess there's a leak somewhere.

Get a wet vac and clean them using that.
Leave the car running with the heater on full heat making sure the windows are closed. This shout dry them out.
If leaving the car for any length of time get some Silca Gel sachets in it to take away damp

Thanks a lot for your reply. Those Silca gel you mention, what are they? You see, I live in Norway, and I'm not sure we have them here or if they are called something else.. :)

when you buy new trainers, look in the box and there will be a little sachet of Silica Gel, thats the stuff you need;)

Yep as Dan says you get them in boxes of trainers, sometimes with electrical equipment such as TV's etc. Generally anything that might be stored in a sealed container/box for any length of time

Ah..! I get it. Now I'll jsut have to hoard up on those things.
My car is going in for service at Peugeot, guess I should tell them about the leakage then.
Anyways, thanks all of you!
