Neutral Creaking

I noticed today that when my car is in neutral & you move the stick left & right that it make a creaking sound:confused:

I've tried all the other gears but they all working fine without any noises.

may just need some lube or tranmission oil topping up.

i have to fight my car for it to go into first gear sumtimes still dont know why sometimes its fine, but creakin does jst sound like it needs some oil

spray all the gear linkages with silicon spray.

no wd-40 is a water displacement spray it will only give short term lubrication. get some silicon spray from halfords, will be much better.
