why is it that everyone who drive a modified car gets labelled chav scum? Mine isn't exactly a shocking example of modification yet you still get labelled.
so.... it might be time to wave goodbye to the modified car sector and just go for something sensible....:(
i'mm fed up of it attracting vandals and comments from the pikey scum...
anyone else ever feel this way?
Yea i totally understand what you mean... you modify the smallest little things on your car and you get labelled as a 'chav'.
Although a young person driving a small hatchback doesnt really help with the sterotype!

I love it all
Every saturday night you can find me at mcdonalds hanging out the back of a 16 year old with 8 STD's
Then I have a few white lightnings with me mates, and go for a spin round the town centre 104 times

The thing is with people theese days is they assume before they know all the facts,
Me and my mate used to do alot of BMX riding together, one day he had a nasty accident and ground half his face away people would look at him in the street and give filtyh looks because they asumed we had been out fighting or vandalism.
Also when I was with my ex she was doing health and social care for GCSE and part of the course was to look after a plastic baby that monitered your parenting skills, i.e how long you left the baby crying before attending it blah blah blah,
We needed to get summit from our local shops and the amouth of filthy looks we were given was unreal.
IMO **** the world, let them look down on you, and the end of the day what are you loosing through other peoples arrogance, you got your friends and family and watever else, they know your a good person so why should other peoples snotty opinions count :D

Yes pees me off too, to be fair a young driver will get it in any car, even if its new or 'posh' ud still get labelled a 'daddys boy' or something similar, unless its a big family car! Its just the way it is :(
I agree with what Jay said
Cant see you driving a big family car anyway :D

Im the same! Feck everyone!!! No matter what you do or what ya drive or anything ya gonna get labeled! "daddys boy" "Chav" "Mosher" "posh" "rich boy" If ya care to much bout what other people think they ya will end up turning into someone else!!! Why change how you feel????? !!!
I have given up caring what other people think that I don't know! Yes I will admit my car is fairly chavvy, at the moment, it is soon changing (thank god) but if you spend too much time worrying about what other people think then you will just end up changing to suit them! People who know you know what you are like, why does it matter what Joe Blogs standing out side the train station thinks?
Anyway modifying, I believe , is making your car look good in your opinion, and if you like your car then it shouldn't have too much effect on you what other people think? You get comments no matter what car you have, and if you have a decent car you are always going to have problems with real "chavs" or pikeys, because they are jealouse, and have some wierd need to vandalise it! Don't let them define what car you get or what you do to your car, it's YOURS after all.
