Rolling Road Day, 23/02/08, Bridgwater

[Rallye James]

GTi Owners are arranging a Rolling Road day at TSR in Bridgwater on 23 February (original thread here (http://gtiowners.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=9366)).

Details from that thread:

They have 4x4 MAHA unit which is capable of measuring up to 1000BHP. The only real restriction is if the cars are very low to the ground or have large body kit fitted, some may need the front spoilers removing. All runs will be occompanied with a colour print out showning flywheel and wheel BHP figures, torque and transmission loss fiqures.

They charge:

£30 per car upto 20 cars
or
£25 for over 20 cars.

We can also put a BBQ on if required with cold drinks also availible.

When running cars they will put all the similar cars on one after another so they don't have to move the back rollers to much to accomodate the different size wheel bases of cars.

If anyone wants to come along, either sign up over there and put your name down, or ask me and I'll put your name down :)

really sorry about the miserable apperance at tsr boys, had bit of a fall out with the mrs b4 i left, APPERANTLY i love my gti more than her??? lol she'll get over it!! o and my mates bro and tag along ended up coming, lil feckers, was not impressed!!

i got 142bhp at fly wheel and 103bhp at wheels?? apparently losing 38.5 through treansmission. i can only presume thats really bad.

i just dnt understand why its still so fast. and on my read out it says top speed 113mph, ino thats wrong becouse tomtom told me i was doing a pretty fair 132mph on the way down, couldnt go no faster becouse my splitter vibrates. was the reading wrong or was i reading it wrong, also says it tops out at 5998rpm wen i get over 7, really confused guys, HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!
