View Full Version : Cleaned/Clayed & Polished 106 GTi

Hi everyone, I recently brought myself a nice Blaze Yellow 106 GTi in very good condition but badly needed a really good Wash & detail. So i got my Meguiars out, and made a start. It approx as taken me just under 2 days to do(the joys of having a small car eh). I have now taken some rather nice pics for you all to see.

wat detailing process did you use?

wat detailing process did you use?

1. Hosed the Paintwork down
2. Washed it down using Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo using a Wash Mitt and 2 bucket process.
3. Rinsed
4. Then Clayed the paintwork using Meguiars Quik Clay Detailing System
5. Then washed it again
6. Rinsed
7. Then Leathered down using Meguiars Natural Chamois
8. Then applied Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Polish
9. Left bodywork and polished the Windows and hoovered the interior
10. Then Removed the Polish using Meguiars Supreme Shine Microfibre
11. Then applied Gold Class Trim Detailer to the Trim
12. And then Cleaned the Alloys using Meguiars Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
13. To finish i applied Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Spray to the Tyres.

14. And finally stood back and admired the finshed result!!!

spray alloys black and lower it and you will be set

U should get some megs #21 or #23 on there, will finish it off nicely. Looks clean, well done
