the pgac use a pub in thorney toll called the black hart..

its on the A47 and is about 15 mins east from peterborough and about 30 mins west from lynn..

very car friendly place as we (pgac) meet there and i know the fenland RS owners use it too

word of warning pick the date carefully as the ford boys don`t like french metal rolling up at there club night that much lmao

Directions (From memory)

If you're coming from peterborough:

Along A1139 towards A1
Off at the hampton roundabout (First junction after the 40 limit for roadworks, watch out for the speed camera!)
First exit at round about (Towards the big Tescos)
Second exit at next roundabout (Straight over) signposted A15 Yaxley I think?
At next roundabout, you'll see the mcdonalds on your right, take the 3rd exit into the car park area, hang a right, and straight over the speed bump in to the pub car park.
From A1 (Heading Northbound, ie from London way)
Easiest way for me, avoiding roadworks...


Come off at junction 16 or 17 (Can't remember which, although I live off it!!) ... signposted Yaxley A15... at roundabout, take 3rd exit, signposted Yaxley
Follow road for about 3 or 4 miles, until you come to a round about.
2nd exit off into Mcdonalds / Pub car park area, hang a right, and straight over the speed bump in to the pub car park.From A1 (Heading Southbound, ie from Stamford way)


Come off A1 at junction with A1139 (Signposted non motorway traffic)

If your coming via Oundle and the A1 services then Hampton comes before the town center.
A605 - streight over the roundabouts towards peterborough and its the second sliproad in the 40mph (roadworks limmit WITH SPEED CAMERAS) - Go up the sliproad and right at the roundabout and youll see McDonalds. If your not sure let me know and ill draw a map on multimap.

Wednesday nights, thursday nights and saturday during the day are the only times i can come, unless the misses is happy bout comming along then im free most nights and weekends.

the last meet i couldnt make because she had just had her wisdom teeth out...couldnt abandon her, wouldnt have heard the last of it lmao

Hi Guys, Dave (brownvanman) from smvoc here.

Just to looking through the site stats and noticed you had a link in to my site, so thought I'd check out the skinny.

To clarify, smvoc meet at the whistlestop in Tallington at 8:30pm onwards every Wednesday night.. (it's been posted as Tuesday.. it's not Tuesdays we meet)

If you guys wanted to share location for the regional meets, I'd have no bother with that at all, the pub is car friendly, and if their car park is full, there's a mass of room over the road behind the Jet Petrol Station.

All in all, it's a great place for a car meet, it's quiet enough to be able to chat cars, and it's cheap enough to be able to afford a few cokes ;), there's a good pool table and a dart board and there's loads of seating outside for smokers.

If you do pop in, by all means look for me (short bloke with long hair in a heavy ageing German hatch back ;))

We've got a few Pug owners, but obviously as a general modified vehicle club we've got a fairly heady mix of old/new/retro/european/america/jap cars, including a rather mad 205 Derv that makes a serious amount of power and black smoke in equal proportion :D

Like most of our members, Chris likes to get his car out there :), he's a sound lad and the car is proper mad, I've got some great in car footage of our Stamford to Bristol Road trip to get a stainless exhaust for his 406 Mi which I've gotta get off my Mrs's PC and onto youtube :).

You and your mates are always welcome, we're a friendly club who are always wanting to chat to new people and listen to fresh ideas :D
