coilovers?

just wanted to know your guys running coilovers how much you paid and where from cause am tempted to just make my own coilover kit to use on my own car cause i know for a fact if i buy a aftermarket kit i will have to change springs etc to get it to the ride height i want neway just thought would see what you guys are running

Any idea on how much it would cost to make ya own coilovers? I would love a set but i dont think i would be happy with the ride height on normal aftremarket coilovers

Im running a Gaz coilover kit with custom springs from Dampertech.

Paid £440 for the kit

No limitaions to what springs you have, anything can be made... wont neccisarly(spelling:rolleyes: ) be safe though ;)

to make a set of coilovers with billie dampers your talking about £300-350 anyway but at least your getting the correct springs 1st time round.

You will if you have full deatils of what spring rate they need to be and size etc etc

the Gaz kit is originally designed for the gti, hence the springs not being to my liking first time round.

yeh leda themselves have, but if i need stuff there is a few companys in the uk, who deal with there stuff if i wanna get them reconditioned, or i could send them to america( not tht daft tho lol)
