i would like a 3some in my car with some bints using the gearshifter as well, lol

Wiring is getting finished on the car this coming week, then got to get the gearbox out and down to SWR for the new final drive before i leave it too late, oh and also get my running gear off and copied as there is a lad who wants the same kit.

As well as get these moulds for 106 carbon goodies sorted. I will start a new thread for that maybe

Yes started life as a 1999 gti, registered December and bought brand new form local Peugeot dealer, here is the funny bit

I wanted white or black - The salesman convinced me to go silver (I was young, dumb and full of cum)
I paid an extra £500 for optional sunroof - 3 years later, I paid £500 for new roof skin, fitting and painting (pmsl)
I told everyone i have bought a fast car from standard so i wont be playing with this one . . .

What a **** !!!

Mat106 - the lower arms are like normal ones and as such do demand higher costs etc. They are fully adjustable and rose jointed and ready for wider track - I will have a price in next few weeks. Expect £500 plus tho at least, mine were £1200.

I will keep you informaed tho mat106

Bic
10-01-2007, 06:47 PM
I think it is a bit of a rumour that it is based on a maxi kit car, yes i have used parts as per the maxi cars, but i never wanted to create a replica of one, more my own bespoke styled 106, a rally car rarely has the style of a road car . . ;D

What kind of spec is it actually running? Dont know why but i expected some sort of beastly engine sitting in the back? Must be some one else im thinking of ;) hehe. You better finish that btw!! :p

20-11-2007, 10:43 PM
lol did you get that pic too??

last time i spoke to him the front end was stripped down suspension/wings/engine out..

the box needs altering to suit the new engine but is essentially the same unit

new engine should be in his sweaty palms by now..

i cant recall full spec but it started from a 206 lump i beleive and althought the btcc label get chucked around its spec exceeds that on things like valve size..

as said i think it made 270 odd brake and 190lb/ft of torque...

Slammed - Dropped the hubs, lower arms and top mounts off with the engineer today, getting 3 prices back tomorrow, based on 1 set, 3 sets and 5 sets, which also includes required parts for the rear arm conversion. I will keep you posted.

In addition, see link below and pasted details of carbon products currently available from Streamline carbon

many many apologies for the delay, trying to juggle too many balls lately, an update on products etc, will get plenty of pics up real soon.

Please email me at bicstonvillas@msn.com (bicstonvillas@msn.com) with any questions. Please, please accepth these products for what they are . . . the high end of the quality scale, no expense spared on quality of materials used and methods used.

Some of the products we have been able to reduce in price, based on reduction in the size of premises of Streamline and now having their own Autoclave oven http://www.106rallyeforum.com/forum2008/images/smilies/smile.gif

In addition, some products do require minimum order of 5, and with other products that do not, upon request group buys will be considered where possible ie: bonnets, tailgates, roof panels etc

Thanks for your interest and sorry for the delay (I know some of you interested will have sorted things by now).

In response to some of the unanswered questions:

Tommy rallye, yes same company as advertised on Ebay, so just as easy to make purchases through paypal etc for conveinience.

Fred Judd - Mirror covers look mint, are we in need of a bonnet of tailagate anytime soon http://www.106rallyeforum.com/forum2008/images/smilies/smile.gif

Webbs Racing - Probably easier for you to catch me on msn messenger as per email address above of my mobile, 07715 055580, thanks.

Azmo - 2 x front door cards would work out at £99.00

Eddy6 - Any further interest in Morrette covers @ would require at least 5 people for the product to be added to the growing range.

All prices will be subject to postage and packing costs

I am pulling my finger out and sorting membership so will get back on real soon.

Bic

Slammed - Spoke to him again 2nite, he will have the prices for me at lunchtime 2mrw, remember the only other mod for you would be sorting longer shafts, but that is easily doable with off the shelve oe parts, just finding the right ones I am sure.

Sybez - Well if you are serious mate, I have another lad enquiring, so as long as we can get 5 of you, that gets the product into production, If someone can get me a cover so i can go through it with the pattern maker, then i can confirm product cost per pair. And yes, all interior trim panels available seperately mate.

Fuzzy - Like above, if you are one of the 5, thats great, know anyone who can spare a cover for our research ?

Woob - They are boxx Xl200 7x17" alooys in anthracite, similar spoke pattern to the P1 yes

Cheers

Nick106van - not measured bhp at the wheels with that last engine, circa 170-180bhp, but only a guess and yes it is FWD

I might be in on the Carbon Morrette covers but i have a feeling they could be alot of money but def interested.

Do you have any decent pics of the door pillar covers? Interested to see how they attach and look when fitted :)

Also is there a reason why the 106 mirror covers are 59.00 and the saxo equivalent are 23.00?

sybez
03-12-2007, 12:01 PM
Saxo mirror caps are tiny compared, and less complex shape that needs forming/mold building.

Bic can lend you a cover as cars not being used, but as said they really are in poor condition, and one of the 1st designs, which I think has now been changed so prob better to get a newer better condtion set up to you. But if just so your guy can work out mold costs then no probs as even I would wanna know the price before commiting...

Sounds like your talking widetrack parts too? Anymore info on this? Always been on my mind ;)

Quik Pug, Sybez & Hez - Who can lend me a set of covers to get a price then ? I will only n eed them for a week, turnaround in post included, then 5 of you guys who want them, we wont know the cost until we ask, so lets get it done. Quik pug - yes the 106 cover is much larger than the saxo item.

Sybez - Yes currently waitong on prices for the top mounts/hubs/lower arms and rear stub axles and arm conversion spacer (approx £450 i think for the rear from memory) will hopefulyl know 2mrw, they are waiting on an external machinst to confirm overall price.

Think the general support is for Mk2 ones mate, but get 5 Mk1 owners together and I'm sure they can make up a set....

What is the estimated cost for a pair of wishbones, and will they fit standard struts, as i plan to use the coilovers i have. I only need the wishbones, as ive sorted the top mounts and ive got no driveshafts to worry about. I have moved the top out 40mm, will the wishbones be adjustable that much. I would be looking shortly after new year, as ive just bought some alloys so money is tight right now.

Mat106 - I am expecting a call anytime now to confirm exact costs for the arms, hubs and top mounts, the lower arms have rose joints throuighout which would mean you would need to sort a thread coming from the bottom of the standard hub ? dimensions and size wize they have a fiar amount of flexability on them and adjustment, i can take measurements if you wish of shortest and longest lengths when adjusted. I will update you when I have the prices

Dan iow - yes was at Donny show this year in April on track

Jim - i may consider a 1.1 conversion afterall :)

Fred - Go get some and lets talk, lol

Thanks Bic
