Thanks for the map. I'd hardly call Wilts 'next' to Devon though, Wales is closer to you!

I'd say it was 'Southern Counties' which encorporates Wilts, Hampshire, Berkshire. Everywhere east of Hampshire (ie. Surrey) I'd call 'South East' and everywhere north of Berkshire (ie Oxfordshire) I'd designate as 'Central' counties.

Yes the last meet was in Bristol, which is on the very extremity of the South West, and no doubt had more people attending from regions outside the South West ie Wilts, Gloucestershire etc. but how would I know, it was too far away! Which defeats the point of a 'South West' meet aimed also at people who are from areas undoubtably known as the South West such as Cornwall and Devon. Hence the reason that this meet is more central with it being in Devon, sorry if its a bit too far away though :rolleyes:

Issues like this can only be sorted by breaking up the long and thin 'South West' region or by re-structuring the regional groups to make a 'Southern counties' group.
