Ok got my steelies tonight!!

The lad said the bolts i have are for alloys... obviously. He said to get them changed ASAP.

But Dan kindly brough his steelie bolts over and they are exactly the same as the bolts i have in now?

Ive included a very detailed diagram.

The bolts i have are in black, and as u can tell angle in before the thread.

The bolts in black are the ones i apprently should have?

Can anybody enlighten me

Thanks

The thing I never realised until lately is the cyclones use the other sort of bolt, on the right.

...after driving round with the steelie bolts on them for nearly three months! :o OOPS!

Steelie bolts are steel aswell.....alloy + steel dont mix....ha ha how lucky!

Thats the problem - the tapered steel bolts will just eat a bigger hole in alloys - NOT GOOD!

The flat seats are used on VTS and 106 gti/quiky alloys
All aftermarket wheels I've had and steelies use the tapered bolts :)
