ok time to let lose lmao
as most of you will know i have a 98bhp saxo vtr engine in my quiksilver
well because i have a saxo engine i decided to join sax_p as its always handy to know people with similar engines etc etc
well i went on made a few comments about me racing aidy's rallye and a few other and also wooping vtr's and of course all i got was a load of reply's along the lines of "its only a vtr engine its not gonna be any quicker than a vtr"
well after lots of convo's where they said i hadnt beaten cars i clearly did all cost on paper the afore mentioned cars should beat me i was set a challenge to goto york with them and go head to head with them
i went on the day but didnt go head to head with them as i was there with a few clubs in out own class for the day
but.......
i did lay down a 15.8 1/4 which by the end of the day turned out to be 0.1sec faster than the next closest 1.6 8v saxo with same mods but not carrying the weight of me(alot lol) and a cage so id say i could have creeped a little more and not only did i set 3 15.8's i ran consistent 15.9's all day long the next closest saxo was struggling to break the 16 sec barrier most the day
so anyways after the day a few said well dont and held there hands up the rest ran home to consult parkers guid online to find some reason my cars faster and they came up with that the quiksilver weighs only 815kg and the s2 rallye weighs 925kg cos thats what parkers has them at and so weighs 110kg lighter than a saxo vtr does so thats why im so much quicker lol
what a load of tosh the rallye is far lighter than the quiksilver lol
dont think they realise the quiky has an alloy block and mine dont anymore so will weight within 10kg og a saxo vtr i should think
(specially with my now near 17 stone ass in it :()
so anyways another 1/4 day looms easter bank hol monday but i dont think ill make it due to donny show but im praying i can afford it as i wanna go side by side up strip and spank some saxo ass and show em i have infact just got a well put together engine thats performing very well
rant over just winds me up when ya set people straight and they continue to find reasons why they got there ass handed too em hehe
btw way i set a 15.8 with a blowing manifold and my bottom engine mount not connected as it ripped from bottom of the car lmao
so im hopful of gaining 0.2 or so from having them now sorted out :)

Don't waste your time with them mate. It's the same with my bikes, I won best streetfighter at a show last year and it all kicked off, because it's matt black and ratty, people ignored the engine, brake and suspension changes and kicked off. Theses same people then got their arses royally kicked when I raced them round the country lanes:D

As bic would say mate - the flags dropped but the bullshit never stops
Well what do you expect, they drive saxo's. Of course they are going to be angry! :p
Their cars don't look as good, and now they don't even go as quick! Now all their vtr's have no plus points over your 106 :p You've gotta expect some hate from them! They are just jealous really!

... and so the "Rant Forum" was born hehehe :D
yay. the saxp lot are a bunch of ignorant two faced cocks really, i nearly dragged one out of his car and gace him a slap when he cut me up and then realised his vts weren't getting away as quick as he thought it would. can i say C.unt in this room?

I have a dirty secret
When I bought the quiksilver it was a toss up between that and a vtr
And I wish I had bought the vtr :)

Well I bought a quiky and then spent £20k over 4 years uprating brakes, suspension, anti roll bars, rear beam, filters, exhaust. I know a lot of that went on bodywork and interior - but I could have saved at least £5k buy just buying a VTR
Actually hang on I lie.. I wish I'd actually put more research into the whole thing and got an s2 rallye LOL

That's it Phil.... i'm driving on sunday...... can't have you parking with the saxo p-ricks.
how can you abandon the quiky like that???! I'm shocked and deeply saddened by this discovery. I'll fly the quiky flag alone

LMFAO You're driving anyway I hope?
Unless you want me to drive an extra 80miles past pod to your house then back :p
I'll be there at 8am with my feet up drinking tea :D
Dont get me wrong I wouldnt swap my 106 as it is now for a rallye or a vtr
I wouldnt even swap it for a gti now
But back then it would have been more sensible to start with something with more power
But I had 9 points and 2 accidents, insurance was £1300 a year and the quiky was perfect, and she's never let me down and I love her to bits
Especially as I've just officially been crowned the 2nd best handling car in the office, with my mates integra in first (and even he said my car handles nearly as well as his type R with limited slip diff!) LOL

Very plain and simple, and on top of all true!

i drive a saxo (well used to)http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y280/steblitz/whistle.gif
thanks for stereo typing me though :p we're not all a bunch of cocks, honest
i remember reading all the posts you put up mate and all the shit you took over it (and your kill list) unfortunately the majority of sax-p worship parkers and all the shit it comes out with so you'll never win with them.end of the day like you said you've got a well put together engine and a car that runs consistant high 15's (and puts down the same times as most of the cammed vtr's on there i think) so **** them they'll never accept the fact your car is quick which is a shame
Ah but ste, u saw the light (kinda lol)! The saxo has gone :p

think my consistancy and the fact i ran half the amount of runs they did through day proves the fact not only was i fastest overall but also much more consistant with it also
i really do like to prove my point dont i lol
Ah but ste, u saw the light (kinda lol)! The saxo has gone :p
yeah true gazz but i'd happily have it back,i loved that car it was nippy and it handled like it was on rails and it was different to the usual lower it 40mm and keep the standard wheels look that everyone on sax-p seems to do (sheep anyone? :p )
i must admit though when i was looking at saxos they were my 2nd choice over a 106 but i couldnt afford a gti back then
point proven there leeds good times aswell i've only been to york once with my vts on a wet day and the best time i got was a 15.6 so your not far off a standard vts either

saxo's are ugly, boring and are generally driven by chavs.
