View Full Version : Which tyres?

Looking for a set of tyres for the steelies for £40 a corner. Anyone got any reccomendations? Was looking at Hankook's as I can get them fitted next door to work for £42 a corner, or Kumho's (heard they were good), £33 each delivered from mytyres and give a friend a bit of cash to fit them for me.

Size is 185/55/R14 :)

had kumho's on my quikie (not that size though) and they were great.

always go for toyo's now though from camskill, £45 delivered each corner

Please dont touch hankooks, theyre SHIT! My mates inner wall turned to marmite!

I had kumhos before, thyre a branch off of goodyear apparentley. Not bad for the money!

Ive been silly happy with my dunlop sp200s i paid £200 fitted got em discounted through Hi-Q Ive seen em on blackcircles.com. :)

Toyo's sounds good, these are £38, sounds reasonable :)

Had Hankooks on 17"s on my Clio and they seemed OK, everyone always says to avoid them though :confused:

Ive yet to try toyos, but from what i hear i wont be disappointed.

The hankooks have less reinforcement in the side walls, well certain models. Ill try and get a pic of my mates pair of front-ens, i cant say ill ever use em!!! Id throw em if i was sold them on alloys too! Pieces of shit!

I've got Toyo T1-S's at the moment and there amazing... cant recommend them enough.

Ah those Toyo T1s are nearly identical pattern layout to the F1s. Seems to be a winning pattern.

For cheap tyres from the internet check out:

Dealt with them all, all top notch companies chaps, although some cock you around with when your actually going to get your tyres!
