Hay peeps Im tempted to get some throttle boddies for my pug.
as some of you track people know they are getting pretty hot on sound testing. Anyone having trouble on how loud there pug is. I cant go over 101 DB on the static test and i think its 115 DB on the drive by at 15m away.

Please Help

Not sure if it helps, but i was at brands couple of weeks ago and there was a Mk1 escort with 2ltr pinto on bodies and that passed.

i think bic had an issue at brunters with noise and had to run an extra silencer on his tailpipe...

other than that he`s fine i beleive...

and lets face it not many engines exceed his hahaha

if you run a filter or air box youll most likely be alright.without filter or air box it could be tight.youll be alright on static because the throttle boddies only sound loud when full throttle is used(my expirience) so its your exhaust that you want to be worrying about.

oh and 101db is quite loud really a lot of trackdays run a 98db limit.

But bear in mind, bic has an enclosed air box and its still fooking loud.

I think its all to do with trumpet lengths and induction set up.

Cheers for the help guys

I have seen a 306 GTI-6 with TB's been chucked off at Bedford before

Where would you get a silencer like that then?
