How can i make a cold air feed on my car as you will know the bonnet is inclusive of the grille and its sealed.
I want to fit a bmc or a viper but where should i run the feed from i have no fogs either i have removed them.

get a set of rallye blanks/mini grills for where the fogs where and put one behind that, just dont drive through any floods lol
Or get some morette lights and remove one of the bulbs and run a feed from there. This looks gay though.

I found that my Simota was being blocked off by the slam panel so hardly any cold air was getting in. Heres what I did:
I bought some ducting from B&Q for about £7...

I took one of the horns off and attached a homemade bracket to the mount and cable-tied the top of the ducting to a random loop.

Then there was no turning back when I cut a hole in my Simota:

Heres what it looks like from the ground:

Its been on for a good few months now and hasn't ripped or been damaged in any way
Hope that gives you some ideas!

Btw, were you the guy that parked next to me at the services on the way back from Trax(? or FCS or something) with the knackered alternator, when my engine mount and my friends throttle cable had gone? lol

How so? I thought 'innovative' would have been a better word ;). The top of the box is back on obviously, its purely functional rather than for looks anyway and the difference is noticable.
So :p ;)

Haha! You sound about as slack as me for fixing things!
I pick mine up from Shenpar today as the gearbox mount went dropping the engine (seems to eat mounts lol). while it was there I've had a new clutch and gearbox, group N mount, cambelt and tensioners, droplinks and lower strut brace fitted. Will hopefully feel like a whole new car!
My housemate's black GTi is sorted and still spitting flames, has a small issue with the TPS which means its a bit of an animal when trying to pull off!
