Giving my car a big clean in the next few days!
I'm ok with the body and wheels, and i'm ok with carpet and plastics etc.
However one main area is under the bonnet. How can i get this looking shiny and basically just a bit awesome :)
Any advice welcome for any parts under the bonnet especially for getting rid of rust and then getting it to shine.
Cheers!

for gettin rid of rust you will have to take the rust back to bare metal then prime, paint and lacqure it
but on all black plastics under the bonnet i use back to black lol also gunk is ment to be ver good for removing grease

Gunk Degreaser or AG Machine cleaner for stubborn deposits and grease
Soapy water and some cloths
Back to black for any black plastic
Polish/wax for any paintwork

wrap any electrics in tin foil, to prevent them gettin wet.
be careful wen using gunk as it can iritate the skin and eyes and stings alot.
wen using gunk/degreaser, do 1 area at a time, work it in with a paint brush and spray off with bottle of water.
also try not to leave any back to black on it wet, wipe any excess of with a cloth. as it will only collect more dirt.
I used APC (All Purpose Cleaner) diluted to 4:1 4 part water 1 part APC and gave it a good scrub and it comes up a treat:) Thne dress plastics with AG vinyl and rubber care.

Hey, i noticed your rocker cover -> airbox pipe is broken, just like mine - have you found a way around that? if so, how did you fix it?
cheers!
Nah still broken need to get a new air box. I did glue it back on but with the engine moving it snapped again.

Hello guys,
I have cleaned myself the engine bay of my PUG 106 with old clothes and the brazilian version of All Purpose Cleaner.
This is the product:

It is a cleaner for wheels and motor.
Before:

If possible I advice to not use water, just apply the cleaner and remove with the cloth. If your motor is very dirty, before spray water, be sure that electrical contacts are isolated with aluminum foil or plastic bags, to avoid problems.
