sport mode system. bull**** or not?

does anybody know if this is a load of s**t or wd it actually work. its an ebay item, expired now, but theres relistings, so i wana know whether i should get it or not.

When the Sport Mode is on the air/fuel ratioExplains it all mate f***s about with your Engine and the potential to destroy it.

Think its basically a resistor that tricks the ecu into thinking there is less fuel so then it tries to compensate by injecting more fuel so at best it will just make your car run richer = not as well with probably less power.
