View Full Version : IAT sensor? where is it?

recently bought a power module and it is supposed to fit into the IAT sensor, but i dont know where that is. havnt had the car for longer than two weeks so im a bit clueless and only just started driving. any help would be much appreciated, diagrams or pics would also be awesome.

It's not a cheap resistor chip off ebay is it? They knacker your car in the long run mate, by overfueling it burns rich and damages your engine, stay away.

Welcome to the club, i would really bin the module thingy as it will just fool the ecu into thinking the engines colder and bang more fuel in, they do damage the engines and sometimes the ecu as its always overfuelling, if you need more power then do the tried and tested things like air filter and exhaust. If you really need to fit it then its usually in the air filter housing if its a multi point injection, or in the throttle body on a single point injection.

yeah these things are shit, i put one in my scrap punto just to tri it out and the revs started going mad and idling at 3000rpm wat a load of w*nk i feel like a 1st class tat just for trying it out.
