Dash respray

After fitting electric windows yesterday i decided i would then respray parts of my dash, crap pics as taken by phone but u get the jist.

is it easy to take them parts of yeh 106 to spray??

yeah, its simple. couple of screw drivers to take side vent out, just prises out. and then two screws under the steering column takes the top of that off, then theres 4 screws to take dial surround out. then out comes headunit and pull the heater dial off and the two sliders come out. there is a screw behind the dial under that and the panel comes out. then there are two more screws beneath that and then its a case of pulling it all out.

Seeing as it was sunny..... Not the best colour match but will fade down and ill tcut it soon anyway.

Did you take them off to paint them? I want to redo mine soon and don't know whether to take them off or how to get them off

thanks, and james all i did was get some newspaper and masking tape behind them and around. other wise its drilling the rivvets out.

Ok, cheers for that, I'll give it a go sometime soon. The paint on my drivers side one has worn down so much that you can almost see the black plastic through it :(

oh dear :( best get that sorted then matey! next up for the colour coding wil be bumper strips... dont know whether to go blue or black....

I not sure what there called but u know the plastics on the sides of the door do you think they would look good if they was sprayed the same colour as the car
