Right, been looking on alot of sites...especially ZSOC - Zetec S Owners Club. I been posting in a 'Training - Fitness room' and been giving loads of people advice on training, techniques, diets, nutirition, training programes and whats best for what and all that malarke.
I was thinking it be a good idea here to have the same sort of thing, i can give plenty of advice to those who want to know, i know alot about training, weight lifting, fitness etc. Currently studying it and its pretty good.
Let me know, if its shit then thats cool, i wont care. If you think its a good idea get on it and make one :D
I only posted it because lately alot of people starting to get fitter and that...and i know girls now, after christmas coming to summer they wanna loose weight, we all know what they like, "does my butt look big in this"...yeah now get running you fat **** haha, nah not that harsh.

James as it was your first day walking to day with the physio he probably gave you some exercise routins for your ankle to make it heal properly...if you want some i can do you some :D

Sounds good, i'll start off with a few questions...
What would your advice be to someone who wants to gain weight? i'm only about 8.5 stone but want to gain at least a stone the healthy way. I find loads of advice about losing weight but none about gaining it ???

Do you want to put on weight by training or just eating different foods an your usual day to day basis?

Probably eating differently. Do quite a bit of exercise so prob just need a diet change.

What sort of exercises do you do? If you run, dont run as much and brisk walk, as running burns alot of fat and muscle so you loose weight but brisk walking burns excess fat and keeps the muscle etc there so if your training you wont loose muscle mass, youd just become ripped.
If you do weight lifting, try and do 3 set of 10 reps, 8 reps and 6 reps. So first set is 10reps, second set is 8 and last set is 6reps making sure you pump out your maximum on the last rep of each set.
Or there is a new technique out that im trying at the moment and its do 5 set of 5 reps on each body part 3-4 times a week, idea:
chest - Bench press - 5 set of 5 reps
Shoulders - Shoulder press "
Biceps - Bicep curl *easy curl bar or straight "
Triceps - Tricep extension
and etc...
Diet.
Well if your on a diet, you deff dont need a low calorie/carb diet. Try and eat as much protein and carbs as you can,make sure you have 3-4 big meals a day with little snacks inbetween like fruit or a juice etc just to get your vitamins and nutriants.
Dont bother with all the weight gain shit unless you get a proper one.
Just try sorting out your food and exercise first. Ill write a diet plan if you like.
IM off to the gym now, so ill post when i get back tonight.

Ah thanks again Tewkes. I saw the weight gain stuff but that didnt look natural and prefer to exercise and eat properly than use that.
Thanks for the exercise and diet suggestions. Will have to try some of them.
Wish i could eat 3-4 meals a day. Dont find i get hungry enough :-\ Have to start off slow and then increase my intake!

I have the same problem, have weighed 10stone 4 the last few years and just cant put anything on, i do quite abit of weight training but dont eat enough i think.

definately up the eating! 3 meals and 2 snack meals through the day.
milk veggies tats, bread rice pasta, fish all good.
i was in the same boat wanted to bulk up from 9 stone now weigh just over 13.5

Try and eat as much protein and carbs as you can, but dont eat too many carbs after 9 id say because the later you eat them, the less time they got to burn off and turn into fatty deposits *which are easily burnt off*...but if you did that you could transform the fatty deposits into muscle mass by weight training etc. The morrel of the story is.
Eat healthy - Train hard/Do the right exercise's/techniques = How you want your body to look like.
All these things need motivation, you cant just say yeah ill do that, you need to set a target and reach it in order to achieve a goal. Same as loads things in life.
Dont expect to ram the weight on straight away *unless you take steroids* A light form of steroid is 'good' if your like way skinny and want to bulk up abit. Theres a substance/tablet in health shops that you can buy, total harm free, no side affects etc, all natural herbs etc mixed in just to boast your testorterone and something begining with C which is called Alfa Nitrox, pretty good if you want to gain abit of muscle.
Im 6ft 2ish, and now 12stone 13 other day *after i was ill, im about 13.5stone thou naturally, build pretty big :D Trying to get to 12 and a half ot stay at 13 and bulk on the muscle.

Tewkes- let me know how you get one with that 5x5... iv just changed my routine, been on the same one for a while like, so fancied a change.
new routine seems a real killer.. pretty big work out like.

Dude I need to start eating more healthily and do simple excercise like what do you recommend? Situps, pushups, runnign up and downt he stairs, rowing machine? not going to the gym tho!!
Food wise I will try making more healthy stuff just need to know what to go for, I feel tired and engergyless so need to eat better to stop me feeling shit like

enough about budgies, i wanna get fit, the only excercise i get at the min involves my boyf but i dont wanna rely on that! So i've started walking down to town in my lunch break, which normally take people about 15 minutes, i've been timing myself (cos im sad!) and im doing it in 6 at the min, considering im in stillettos i think i'm doing good! lmao!
But thing is i don't know what food is good and bad..... i refuse point blank to give up chocolate, its just not happening, and its annoying cos the only thing my boyf seems to eat is pizza and i can't be bothered to cook two meals every night so i just end up eating that..... what shall i do?! I had salad last night tho!!!

James you cheeky **** i aint on no gear! I aint nowhere close to that guy, he is slamming the steroids in him but is also workinbg very hard, you can see that. My mate is going for worlds strongest scwat and press...he's already britains under 21's...goes by the nickname slick. Quality guy.
There aint many young big people around here james, most of them are big for their age but not that big.

Start training litely by going for walks, or doing a brisk walk for about 1 mile, every other day. With situps, pressups try doing 5 sets of 10-12 reps or make it 20 reps if you can. Also do some stretchs, i will post up a 28day fat burning or getting ripped exercise if you like *this applys to anyone wanting to loose excess fat and trim up*
Eating healthy is easy and there are loads foods which supply energy. When you wake up 7-10 o'clock, start the day with a nice breakfast, ranging from cereal with fruit, porridge *big bowl* some fruit or have some egg on toast, bacon sandwich's. If you have breakie around 7-9 o'clock you can eat some chocolate at around 10-10.30 because it will burn off through the day anyway. 12 o'clock have another meal, this time of day you need alot of carbs - these supply energy. Foods that contain carbs are potato's, rice, pasta. All these can be eating with some chicken breast, steak. Id say have that with a bunch of salad and veg. That will give you alot of energy to carry on through the day. At 3 o'clock try and have a light snack, tuna salad and some fruit. Then when you get some you should do your exercise and have another meal after your exercise which should consist of protein. This is vital to rebuild the worn mucsles. Meals that contain protein, chicken, steak, lean meats, pasta with some source, veg omlet *1 egg york, 3 egg whits* can work your way down to that.* Steak and peas, you can mix meals, so you can have steak and potato's/rice/pasta/loads veg, same for chicken etc.

Same applys to you, try walking abit more, same advice as above really. You could do some light exercises at home, like star jumps, sit ups. Dont eat too much chocolate, try cutting down abit, getting lower each week or two weeks. 1 bar a day will be fine as long as it aint eaten too late into the day.
EVERYONE, NEVER EAT MEALS AFTER 7 O'CLOCK! THE CARBOHYDRATES WILL TURN INTO FAT AND THAT WAY YOU WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT!

They'd be unlimited calories...because i wouldn stop. Sex dont burn off that many calories. Its aloadof shit, yes its exercise and damn good but not 300 calories in 30mins. It burns a good fewm thou.

U tried snortin food raz? ;D ;D LOL He snorted ground ginger before and i thought he was gonna die.
Dunno what all of the above are like dietary wise LOL well except the maccys milkshake.

just to get back on to the fitness side off this, would like to tell you bout a new thing i added to my work out yesterday. Its from mens health mag so some might have seen it. Its to help gain a six pack or just stiffen up that area. The idea of this is to hang (off something like a pull up bar) arms just a lil bit rurther apart than shoulder width. rly need to be able to do this for atleast 30secs if not stage 1 is getting so you can do this. Stage 1 for people who can already do this is to hang and pull ur knees up 2wards your chest and roll ur hips up. Do 6-10 of these and take 30sec break then another 6-10, do this 2-3times a week.
I usually just do sit-ups in my work out and can do fukin loads and never feel the crunch but adding this yesterday i have got stomach pains today. Where theres pain theres gain, or summit like that.

Tis a good exercise that, also good while youre on the bar you may already do em..
Arms slightly further apart than shoulder width, pull your knees up so thighs are horizontal and then take your whole body to your left hand, taking as long as you can then back down and up to right hand.
Really good for upper back and chest/stomach area.

Im finding it solid typing because ive fucked my hand from fighting...so when its better ill give this thread some guids then.
Mens health magazine is awesome fair play.
If you want abs you cant just do sit ups, the sit ups only work one area. Try doing situps with a weight or med ball on you, Leg raises, oblique exercises and holding 'plank' for 30-60 seconds. All this will work your abdominal area.
If you do the guids we can wip them up as a sticky when the rooms sorted... you can add to it as often as you like...
could even do a part on pet food ::)
