the black net is to stop anything in the boot flying forward onto the harnesses.

the carpet stops the flor looking rougher than a heroin whore, which is how bad my mate made me feel when i said i was fitting a carpet lol.

dictates how much braking force goes to either end mate, which chould mean i can stop the back of the car locking up before the front. theres one on the disc beam as standard but they seize all the time. and are shit

bit of an update

my heater martrix went on the way back home over the hills on saturday night, so that meant everything out of the car

seats, hammock, carpet, cage, dash! eeeeeeeeek

i got a matrix off fuzzy that didnt actually fit lol. so a new one should be here within the hour from german sweedish for a grand toatal of 17.50 plus vat, its all about who you know and all that.

fuzzy brought me a lovely blue s2 carpet round last night so that will go in asap. but everything is on hold til the matrix is back in.

while the car was in bits we dropped the tank off so we could fit my new spec fuel lines and a vtr pressure regulator so thats all good now. so yay on that


just this min my matrix has arrived so yay.

next weeks plan is to get the cage back in, make brake lines frommaster cylinder to cintr console area, then back down to standard posittion so that we can get the bias valve located to the centre console for easy access.

also while the beams off we're finally junking the load compensator and fitting my rear race beam bushes

Please enlighten me as to what a "bias valve" is, as im sure im not the only one who doesnt know what it is.

It allows you alter the brake "bias" between front and rear - meaning you can alter what percentage of braking force goes to the rear of the car, and what goes to the front. Allows you to setup the brakes in a much more precise manner than the "load compensator" that comes on the peugeot rear beam as standard :)

for those not in the know, the car has been getting a RWD vtr conversion, using an axle off a coralla ae86 as i wanted to go drifting.

so as this was the case i decided that i'd take off my smoothed bumpers and fit some more "dispensible ones instead. pics on the way

right, updated

i've just fitted a new driveshaft without getting covered in oil, so i'm uber chuffed about that lol. the old one was proper fubar'd to say the least, i also had an annoying squeak comingg from the front right, so i thought it was the buggered shaft, or the brakes rubbing as it went away when i braked, so i dismantled the caliper, took the pads off, cleaned away all the dust andcopperslipped everything. all seems well so far no squeak yay.

oh and on sunday wardy was kind enough to bring me some goodridge hoses round.
and my bumpers should be done mid next week. yay

1 half fitted 16v! once my gear box is bolted on we'll get the engine up into place and start with everything else! never know might be in by the weekend

seph is supplying me with standard rear lights again too so we shouldnt be far off, loom is half in now, once it all works i need to refit the cage, carpet and seats and we're away like!
