After seeing some of the posts in the members list for our region shall we have a meet in Brighton at some point. SE region leader from RR has expressed an interest in a joint meet. hopefully we can make this a big one.

if any has any suggestions of what to do i.e just a meet and chat somewhere or a bit of a drive about put you ideas down and we'll get something sorted. also any ideas for a date? the 20th of oct (sat)?

Er, probably :p I've not been there for a while but someone who lives that way will probably be able to tell you. I do remember a hilly part and going past a race course (horses).

ok, just had a little chat with dave.

the plan is:

We meet at the stated time, have a chat etc. those that wish to go watch rugby then do so, and i take the rest for a drive about. then we all meet back up on mederia drive a lil later.

Some of us are getting there for around 6pm anyway, so if people turn up earlier than 7.30 we'll have plenty of time to have a chat etc. before the game starts at 8 if people want to find somewhere to watch it. Of course, England will get completely creamed but hey, we can be optimistic!

So we're definitely still on for the 20th. Sort out the finer details on the day. Really looking forward to meeting everyone too and seeing some old faces*.

right guys, had the garage on the phone this morning, and they say i will have my car back for tomorrow, so aslong as that goes to plan i will be there on saturday. Im really hoping it does tho, cause ive only driven my car once since the 12th september (and that was to drive from my house to the garage), sayin im missing it is a very small understatement.
So just getting the car back is going to be great, but also whilst its been away it has been fully stripped and buckets/harnesses have been put in place....cant wait to be strapped in and giving my little baby some serious gas, oh and ill have my flame spitting exhaust back

Convoy from Havant (A27, Eastbound). Leaving at around 5pm.

For those people who are coming from Portsmouth, Southampton etc. along the A27 and want to convoy to Brighton for 6pm:

Come off of the A27 at the Havant slip road. At the roundabout, go left (direction: in to Havant). Go left at the next set of traffic lights. You will see Tesco on your left hand side and a retail park with a big Halfords on your right. Go in to the Tesco car park (take the road on your left where the Tesco petrol station is).

We'll be meeting at the back end of the Tesco car park by the recycling centre.

Convoy will be leaving at around 5pm to get to Brighton for around 6pm.

If you want to convoy from here, send me a PM so I know who to expect :)
