would like car gone before this sunday as my insurance renewal is on monday, so make me an offer,
require a new home for my yellow 106 gti, i paid £3200 a year ago and since then ive only done 3000 miles and spent over £1600 on the car,
ive owned it for a year and to be honest i am thinking about getting something bigger, its a great little fast car and controls like a dream, only problems on last MOT were a siezed rear brake valve and headlight beam was not quite straight all sorted then and there.
comes with most of the service history but some was lost by previous owners but has lots of reciepts, covering most things.
spec is
1999 T reg 106 gti in sundance yellow 80,000 miles rounded up currently on 78,964 tax till end of april, MOT till october 2010 and service required in 4000miles.
previous owner did have a minor knock resulting in new bumper and wing, repairs were carried out at pug1off with reciepts
Had nearly £2000 spent on it in october 2008 doing absolutely everything to make it a great example of a yellow gti, from full service to rust being treated and any rotten panels being replaced,
new clutch roughly 15000 miles ago,
reconditioned alternator fitted 2008
leak on gear box seal repaired
just fitted new bosch battery as old one couldnt handle the cold, 5 year guarantee with halfords runs out january 2015,
gear box is bit tight and has been since fitting the quick shift but still no trouble finding gears ,
runs perfectly and have had no trouble with the idleing issues others have,
engine
1.6 16v polished cam covers, ecu cover, brake resevoir cover and small
fuse cover,
quick shift kit
group n engine mount
bmc carbon enclosed induction kit
gmc 4-1 manifold
full remap with rev limiter set to 7800 rpm
cobra 200 cell sports cat so good for mots
powerflow custom stainless exhaust
was running at 139.8 bhp with 13 ftlb torque with printout to prove before fitting the 4-1 manifold and the sport cat unsure of current Bhp but wouldnt surprise me if it was in the 145 - 150 range
exterior
(Will be supplied with standard head lights and fog lights incase you prefer them to morettes and carbon fibre rallye vents)
car did have respray at some point so paint is unfaded
colour coded bump strips
carbon fibre rallye vents
lagunna splitter
morette headlights
smoked rear mr lights
smoothed bonnet and boot
3" custom exhaust
interior
cobra alarm system cat 1 insurance approved
all electrics work fine with no problems
well looked after leather interior no tears very clean,
alpine head unit
alpine door speakers
omp black leather with yellow stitching steering wheel
momo handbrake and gear knob
suspension, wheels and brakes
e-tech strutbrace
profesionally lowered all round by 50 - 55mm sits nice and low
team dynamics pro race 1.2 15 inch wheels in white with yokohama prodrive s tyres
all 3 months old, cost £850 all in
grooved black diamond discs all round with ebc pads
red gti callipers
BAD POINTS
- minor stone chips as would be expected
- minor hairline crack where boot was filled hardly noticable about an inch long if that
- inner wheel arch plastics were removed and thrown away as forgot about them but a new set is not necessary and would only set you back no more than £15 at a breakers if you required them,
all in all a very nice car
will be sad to see it go as it is my pride and joy if i could i would keep her but feel i need a bigger car
due to getting a place with my gf soon
thanks for looking
I have probably forgotten some bits but will add if i remember
