I'm not putting my 106 on here yet, but that'll be on shortly.
Fiat Punto 1997 (P Reg) 75 ELX - 5 Door
80k Miles and service stamps / MOTs confirming this.
I am selling my Fiat Punto, it has been a very reliable car and used to get me to and from the train station (and the odd journey to the tip). You will be very hard pushed to find a cleaner car of this age.
This is a 1.2 engine (8 valve) and being a 75 model is a multiple point injection which is more powerful and about as economical as the typical 1.2 60 model
I bought this off a friend 3 months ago, she owned it for 3 years and replaced with a larger car.
Used daily and always started 1st time (Starter Motor has been replaced)
As this is the top spec ELX model, it includes the following features:
Central Locking
Engine Immobiliser (As well as the standard key, I also have the very important Red key supplied from new - These often got lost)
Electric Windows
Electric Sunroof
Remote Boot Release (Open boot from inside the car)
Front Fog Lamps
Driver Airbag
4 Speaker Radio Cassette with Fingertip controls.
MOT till beginning of November
Taxed till end on Feb
Bad Points
Heat Shield on exhaust rattles - Annoying but does not affect driving of the car.
Heater blows cold when idling. I have been told a coolant system flush may fix this but it never bothered me.
Passenger Side Front Fog Lamp lens is cracked.
Good Points
All Electrics Work
Very Clean for year
Very Low Mileage (80k)
Drives very well (Local or Motorway)
Very Economical (I have only put in £50 fuel in 3 months)
Good tyres
Recent Battery
Recent Exhaust from Kwik Fit
I am selling because I have bought a larger car which I am taking delivery of soon. No other reason for sale.
Ideal car for 1st time drivers as it is a low insurance group, comfortable and not too powerful.
Looking for £695 ono. There is higher mileage, same spec model on Ebay for £995 right now so priced to sell.
