mixed reactions from me really as i loved the original and john carpenter's films are class i hope this version does the original justice and not kill it like remakes usually do

mate, just saw this, and was surprisingly good, the guy who plays Michael Myers, plays him really really well, i know he doesn't really have to do much but his body language is spot on..

it goes into Michaels childhood a bit more than the original did..

i think if your a girl and you're getting killed in the movie..you have to be topless or naked though

it did the original justic, it did keep alot of the original scenes in, but expanded on them a little bit more without ruining them, i read some bad reviews, but i think they were just moaning for the sake of it.

From a MASSIVE horror film fan, and a lover of the Halloween series, it gets a big thumbs up from me..

plus in this one, Michael Myers is a big fucker! (as in tall not a horny bugger)

it's a brilliant combination of a modern genre and 80's cult slasher films, it keeps the whole original slasher theme with boobs, beer, sex and blood, (found in films like Friday the 13th series, and original Halloween) it sticks to it's background well in my opinion
Some re-makes and new age horror films really annoy me, but this is worthy of it's original title.

not at all unless you're a complete chicken..

of course there are little bits which make you jump, but some of it is just freaky.. like the introduction of the infamous mask of his, the new look of it on the big screen is just like "hmmmm that's actually quite weird!!"

it's not a complete gorefest like the 'Saw' series and 'Hostel' series, just the general stabby kinda scenes, that come from slashers, there is kinda sick parts, but i don't wanna spoil it for you hehe
