High BHP 16 Valvers?

just wondering if any of you know any 16v's (gti/vts) with 160bhp+? would be very intersted to see the specs/pics, etc... :D

There are a few super / turbocharged ones about, generally around 240bhp. I generally see them with either 150bhp or they have 240bhp, nothing in between.

we have 2 180bhp 16 valvers on the RR.

bics running around 200bhp i think on his maxi, and theres another guy on PGAC with a supercharged 16v and a guy called Andy is building one atm. i think they are up around 210bhp.

Matt (superGTi) had a 106 GTi running 180bhp (throttle bodies)

Widders (yellow GTi) also had a throtted bodied GTi running between 160bhp
and 170bhp I think.

Guy on PGAC called Bleach is also running a throttle bodied GTi!

There is a guy on psooc with a black supercharged one and it was at pugfest last year. He does a lot of track days with it and it looks a nice piece of kit. It had a full interior in it and looked pretty standard. It was running 240bhp at the flywheel then and im sure it has a cage in it now.

my mate has a ax 8v, on a 1.6 xsi engine runnin 170 bhp

an another boy here has a vts runnin 160ish a think

GMC built it, used to b a supercharger one, at over 200, but tht went bang

i believe Andy l off the saxo sports club has nigh on 300bhp now with his supercharged 16v built by gmc, he will be about this year i would have thought

yeah its N/A runnin TB's , GMC built it bout 7 years ago, an its still going on the first build, only done bout 15k tho,

it was a front cover on max power bout 5 years ago, i dont have the spec on it for now, but get home end o the month an wil lget some pics an spec then, but its a beast

wat colour is tht ? iv saw a couple of charged vts in GMC, but never saw one thts been mentioned to near 300 bhp

Yes mate.. Simon Berry.. Hes on PGAC & SSC... Running 256 bhp with a supercharger & TB's...

Theres also a guy called Raj on SSC whos running approx 180 bhp i think.. He has a Yellow GTi with a carbon bonnet too...

Plenty of 106's / Saxos running 160 + BHP... Poppin up all over the place.. :p

my mates 16v s1 is running 160 bhp or there abouts on a standard inlet with cams, headwork, map etc.

puts down 14.4 quarters too
