hey guys quick question. what is the best tar remover around these days. my car looks bad with dots all over it, any help would be appreiciated. :D

I use jizer. It's a degreaser and I've always found it works brilliantly. Spray it on, leave it to work it's magic and off comes the tar. Also use it for cleaning the engine bay.

I use spirit wipe from work or white spirit does the job .....

do what pete did and use a scouling pads :p

meg's quick detailer and clay; costs about 15-20 from halfrauds..
go over the whole car and it will remove every bit of surface contamination, just don't be stingy with the detail spray. Gives you a much better finish surface for polish/glaze/wax too

Clayings a bit harsh to do every time you want to remove Tar, would eventually do more bad than good if you kept doing that!

thats the stuff ;) just do small patches first, i put it all over the bonnet, came back to wipe it off and it made the bonnet foggy, had to wash it again... lol (its fine now)

Agreed, however if its covered in tar spots Im guessing its not been clayed for a while/ever :)
