It has been mentioned in another thread but I dont think many people saw it - dont want anyone turning up and being told they cant do it

To run quater mile on Saturday/Sunday

Your money to pay - obviously lol
Your MOT Certificate
Your Insurance Certificate
Your driving licence
Long sleeved tops must be worn
Helmet must be worn if your car will reach 100mph before the end of the track.

The car will have to undergo scruitineering before you are allowed on - this consists of checking under the bonnet for leaks, anything that is moving that shouldnt etc. Tyres will be checked for condition, boot and inside the car will be checked for any loose objects eg amps, subs, dead bodies

Once you have all those you will be given a sticker to place in your car to show you have passed and off you go :)

Also, they dont appreciate dark tinted windows on the fronts, just letting you all know - aint gotta clue what you can do about it though??

So, good luck everybody and have a good weekend :D

and dont laugh at mine, its only a 1.1

Surprised they are more strict at a drag strip than a track day. :/

They will prob check the first 50 cars then just quickly check the rest. Fair enough, they dont want people spilling oil on the strip or people having accidents.

The checks are SIMPLE safety checks
Like fuel leaks, is the battery fastened down properly etc..

Long sleeves are required in case you break a window - its easy just to chuck a jacket on

Better safe than sorry in motorsport kids :D
