Ok... So it was about beginning of January that I first posted up my little 1.1 and i feel i got mostly a positive response
Although it may not seem a long way to have come to you guys... A cat-C miserable looking little 106 is budding into a stunner before my eyes today!
Just a reminder of what i was working with...

And foolishly.... I forgot to photograph the original interior before TEARING it out lol. But heres an identical one found upon Ebay....

Things HAD to change. There's only so many excuses you can make for an interior like that!
So - Progress has been made.
================================================== =====================
Colour coded my mirror backs ( finally! after driving around without them for weeks on end...)
http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r110/z0_bl0/Feb2007MirrorBacks.jpg
Grabbed a bargain of a spoiler from a local breakers.... £20 still attached to a trashed tailgate of which i carted home and chizzled away at for many hours
It seems the previous owner was a fan of the 'no nails' tactic...(sigh)
http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r110/z0_bl0/Feb2007Rear.jpg
Picked up an Alpine Ipod unit from work ( Halfrauds ) of which i got 15% off too... so worked out £85 - Dead smart lookin'
And lastly? The turning point of my year?
DRUMROLL......
Oh yes - She finally has laid her grubby little mittens on an immaculate Quiksilver interior :D
Guy at local breakers said £50 for the seats and front doorcards...
Of which i took..
Ahem...along with entire trim, rear door cards, speakers, wiring, visors, doorseals, gaitor, ashtray, the f*cking lot! Anything i could pull off before closing time. Apart from the carpet...of which the previous owner had slashed and stitched up attempting to install a sound system to the rear me thinks
Managed to pick up a Quikky carpet from another breakers for a tenner the next day so...

Total price : £50 - £1.30 (found whilst stripping interior) + £10 = £58.70
Am i good or what! And however slightly damp from where sunroof had been removed earlier on in week.... Dried it out and now?
Its in immaculate condition!
No rips, tears, scratches, nicks..... Just .... perfect !
Seems all my stubborn, persistant, nagging, perfectionist ways were worth it eh guys!
================================================== ==================
END RESULT
http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r110/z0_bl0/Feb2007Side.jpg
Must add a HUGE thank you to all you guys who went out of your way to help me hunt down an interior that would put the smile back on my face!!!
Cheers again
