right basically its gonna be cold on a night guy so be prepared or suffer its your choice


bringing a tent and a sleeping bag just aint gonna cut it trust me you will be freezing cold all night


here is a list of a few things that are cheap that will make your night far more enjoyable and much warmer

1st of all keeping your bady heat is esential and sheilding yourself from the cold ground is something you will need to do


a pump up matress or a faom sheet will help with this or a padded foil sheet from a camping shop is ideal as it keeps your body heat but deflect the cold from the floor

these can be bought from any tesco for £5 and they will help greatly to retain your bdy heat or if you find your warm enough you can use as a ground sheet in your tent or roll up for a pillow lol

Last time I was with a lass in a tent I learnt a few things

1) You cant find the damn thing when its that cold
2) Sex while wearing all your clothes is awkward
3) Shivering insanely and chattering your teeth is not erotic
4) Even cuddling each other doesnt keep you warm when both people are freezing LOL!

Make sure you take proper equipment

And if everyone thought my snoring was bad at Trax - wait until you get 7 hours of ticking over 3" pugsport exhaust popping and burbling as im asleep in my seats with the heater on ;)

a few things that may also help:

wooly hat (no really theyre mint at keeping you warm)
sleeping bag liner
space blanket under your sleeping bag to insulate you from the ground(tin foil blanket like the ones who run the marathon get at the end)
hot chocolate/tea
and....

they stay warm for 8 hours, and they do get really hot.

i camped in snowdonia in may this year so i do know what i mean,

also a tent with a seperate ground sheet is essential, so you have two layers to trap the warm air.

and please dont put a camping stove on inside the tent, a cold tent is much better than a singed heap.

if all else fails - grab nearest fit man/woman and cuddle up lol and get hammered :D

all i can say from past shows, girlys and gents take a pair of socks and jogging bottoms to sleep in, because its bloody cold a night!

last time we went, we had a duvet and a fleece blanket!
aaron was sick in the tent so i went and slept in the car and all i had was a little fleece blanket that was in acutual fact 9.99 from tesco:rolleyes: and i was sooooo cold!
even if it is hot on the day, it will i am telling you now be very cold!

speaking from experience of being a 48 hour session weekend fisherman for about 14 years believe me when i say DO NOT LET YOURSELF SWEAT!!!! it will feel good at first because your sooooo warm but the people that felt slightly chilly will be laughing at you a few hours later when the sweat actually freezes or atleast becomes VERY cold in the paws of your skin lol, not a good thing to happen. keep your head, feet and hands warm as thats where you lose your body heat from most i have allways been told and wear clothes made from BREATHABLE material...oh yea and erm....... just wear 2 tshirts and a really warm top if youre worried about being cold. as for being in the tent? chances are ill be too battered to care about where i sleep. but as long as you have a semi decent sleeping bag you'll be fine.

its the morning that sucks most when you wake up to a tent full of moisture!
