Unfortunately there is no option of a club stand as we all need to be members of PSOOC, so what we have decided to do is . . .

Set up shop in the car park,
which is what a lot of people have done in previous years.

i was considering going but im honestly unsure if its worth it.

is it a good show IF your not doing the hillclimb?

It is basically just a load of cars, nothing really happens but i think there will be a 205 t16 coming as one is supposed to be. Last year pug1off brought the twin engined 306 along and there are some ultra clean cars there. The hill climb is good to watch but there is not too much you can see at the same time as half of the course is covered by trees. It is good to be there as we go with our local groups and have barbeques and drink and have a good laugh.

ok sounds alright, but is it worth travelling like 100 miles to watch. my brother has been and said its not really worth it unless your doing the climb..especially since i will have to travel so far.

This is on Sunday, just to let you all know :) What's the deal with the car park, will the club have a stand in the car park? Otherwise I'll just pay to become a PSOOC member and park on the RR stand - may even run up the hill :)

If you see a 106 with the 106owners stickers in it try and get next to it, as it is more than likely going to be one of ours.

Wouldnt really say that it will be a stand in the car park much either, its more of a gathering.

the car park is just a fairly flat field. I cant remember if they told us where to park in the line last year or not. Anyhow once parked and it has all settled down we can always move them.

I have got a rope to, just incase we get stuck in the wet field! LOL!

The weather is looking a bit hit and miss, by the looks of it, when it rains its going to rain hard, but there is a good chance of some sun.

What a quality day, despite the weather! Lots of rain, mud and pugs!

Got there about 11.45 and met up with Toby (Quiksilver_tr) and his gf and a shower of rain which turned into abit of a big downpour lol. Had a walk about looking at the cars then went to watch the track action halfway up the hill which was pretty good :D. Left around 4 and had abit of fun in the muddy field whilst leaving, like most people were doing! Saw James (Raylle_James) whilst we were there, looked out for other people but never saw any!

Well despite the beautiful summer weather (you never knew whether to take the umbrella!) I've had a great day today. Got tow passenger rides in the XSi 16v (red with white bonnet) and I had my own little run up the hill which I thoroughly enjoyed. Was told I wasn't looking too slow either :D I have to say seeing the 505 and the 306 go off was fairly amusing :p

Some good pics there, i think i saw james during the day dodging the rain, i went to the tarmac area but i seemed to have missed the rallye. I saw the pink gti and the one next to it was white with a blue roll cage in, it looked quite good from a distance. I did notice a couple of 205`s with v6`s in, is this the replacement for the mi16 engine transplant.

I didn't not enjoy it as such, but this was my least fav PugFest since '01. I hope it will be back at Prescott again though as i still think it's an A1 venue, but much like Castle Combe it's not great when it's wet and there are lots of people. Unless you're some dirty Glastonbury mud loving type anyway lol
