Starting at the Matalan in Consett, 10:00, 7/10/2007.
Heading off towards Alston via Stanhope on some of the best roads in our area.
I'll be your guide, as this is my back yard. Taking you long some breathtaking views, and more
importantly thrilling roads.
We will be stopping a few times for the usual photo opportunities, hoping to get some good group shots.

From Stanhope to Penrith over the A686, daring HARTSIDE PASS one of the best and scarey routes around, its
a classic, and not one for the faint hearted!
"Hartside summit 1900 feet, winter conditions may become dangerous without warning"

We will have a nice break right at the top, at the bikers cafe...
they do shit loads of food and tea and it's all cheap, so that the Power Rangers that congregate there can afford it too

Then take the road down the mountain again to Penrith, which is the best part i think, and probably a good place to find out if your brakes actually function ;)
Police do patrol the A686, so take extra care through villages.
Then hitting the A66 back towards Barnard Castle,
This is a pretty straight road, with some parts dual carriageway. hoping for some good play and action shots.
Once we hit Barnard Castle, we will head back towards Bishop Auckland, then on to Shafto's pub located at
Whitworth Hall near Spennymoor just outside Durham, hopefully we can get some food and a beer to finish the run.[/b]
