VTR Clocks into quiksilver digi dash

Right just fitted some VTR clocks into my quiksilver no problem all gauages work but the water temp one doesnt move off the bottom marker.

Do I have to change the water temp sensor for a VTR one or is it because I moved the needle slightly by accident? Phil does yours work mate?
