I have just fitted the leather seats and the bloody connectors are different on the Pretensioner wiring, which means that I cant plug them in yet...!

Without them plugged in the light flashes and then stays on.

Will my air bag still work in an accident?
Not to worried about the pretensioners.

I thought maybe I could cut the plugs off and use terminal blocks to connect them, you think this will be okay, as the wires either side of the plugs are them same colours.

Not now I have got them all fitted in!

I shall have to have a look. It will have to be the whole pretensioner unit as the plug is fixed into them.

the best solution would be to take them out, put your old ones back in and sell the leathers to me for the same price you payed for them.

Far as im concerned, the system will work when iyts needed but the light is to show you that 'some' parts of the system wont.

Seeing as you know what it is, sort it.

Lazyness is one thing but being wheelchair bound as your airbag system wasnt working to its full potiental due to someone else pulling out on you, is something else mate.
