S2 Rallye 10th Aniversary day

Hi all, just been told on another forum about this.

ØHuge display of Peugeot 106 Rallyes including the S1 model
ØChance to drive the exclusive Aston Martin test track!

Track time is £15 but not sure how long you get for that.

Anyone on here going to attend?? It is open to all makes and models as far as I know!

Entry is free!! as I said above. The only cost is to park in the RR section which is £5. Track time is £15 for non members of RR.

my dad works at gaydon and ive been round the track wiv him before wen i went 2 his work 4 the day cos he tests loads of cars on the track wudnt mind havin a go round it in the pug ill have 2 ask him if he can get some tickets if its invitation only he mite b able 2 get a few

hi guys,

i was just about to start a new thread up about anniversarallye but seems someone allready has, so il add to it. ive corrected a few false statements below...

basically its the 10 year celebration of the s2 rallye, there will be a huge display area with rr members travelling from as far north as scotland and as south as cornwall to get to the event, theres going to be a massive turn out...
key features include...

-massive collection of 106 rallyes both s1 and s2, some concours condition ones, some highly modified track machines ect
-best rallye competition for both s1/s2 in 2 different categories
-psooc in attendance for the day aswell
-big bbq by ticket only -can be purchased on the rr shop
-rare opportunity to drive the aston martin test track-ITS NOT A BLOODY PARADE LAP AT ALL!:mad:
-live music/dj
-proffsional female models courtesy of 'grid girls'
-raffle with prizes from OMP/scorpian/106 parts and many more
-many performance car magazines in attendance
-local peugeot presence
-fun games and activities throughout the day
-the BIGGEST RR event ever....

whatever car you own you are most definately welcome to come along and have a great day out, and if you have a rallye BRING IT you'l be more than welcome. we want as many there as possible!!!!!

dont listen to un confirmed rumours, go to the rallye regsiter and look at the details yourselfes, its going to be ace!

incorrect pugwash, its a fast pace lap behind a safety car thats all, your by no means going to be travelling at 15mph lol the safety car will follow the line at pace you just have to stay behind it :)

if not would you be able to just post in the annivesaraalye section of the site and add your name to the list, its just wer trying to gauge numbers so anyone who is able to add there names to the list would be great thanks!

my thinking is theres alot of people that know about it but havent actually put therenames down, it'd be helpfull if people did so we had an idea of numbers ect

There will be a load of us going up from south wales.

So if any gti owners...etc from South or West wales want to join us, contact me, will give you the details of where to meet and times...etc if not, then who to contact.

My rallye is in a very sorry state people, its as rough as a badgers arse to be honest, so do excuse it as im in the middle of restoring it and this event took me completly by surprise.

The £5 was for Premier tickets for food on the day and some stickers - they've sold out but you can still come along free of charge :)

Had a great day, really enjoyed the track sessions, it was a bit different to the norm. Even managed to get on the front row when they did the S2 chequered flag pic! :D :D :D
